IAS Cadnam Export Horn Loudspeakers -

Hi IAS were produced over a number of years. they made a few models which all used a 1/4 wave back loaded horn system. they NEVER used complex crossovers, rather they built and designed the crossover to work with the very best drive units which they could get hold of. they even used SERIES crossovers with very low roll of rates which impacted on the music very little. Although to the end of the IAS story went to 12 dB per octave parallel xovers which were much easier to build. which the drivers are as follows Audax tweeters Motorola piezon horn load tweeter Bell Midrange driver Richard allen CB8 8 ohm drivers The cabs are a pair of EARLY Cadnam Export. These were the top of the range of loudspeakers much much better than The Bealieu l/s. They had more bass extension, tighter bass definition, and a much more extended treble reproduction. these were placed in two horn tracks! They are in excellent condition and are very musical and punchy they can produce a band pl,aying in front of you. they come with covers etc. Price is realistic given the rareity open to sensible offers
